Goose in flight, squawking as it goes.

IMAGES FROM LAKE PLEASANT RV PARK, BOTHELL, WA

With the exception of the two photos taken at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival I attended while staying at Lake Pleasant the photos below were taken within Lake Pleasant RV Park where resident and migratory birds provide many opportunities for photography. The bird photos were all taken within a few days of each other in the spring. I really like the shot of the female bufflehead against the green, rippled water for its graphic appeal but my favorite may be the female gadwall preening because she appears so graceful, demure, as attention is called to her by the ripples she’s created encircling her.

  1. These are beautiful, Russ. I’m so glad to have met you and Diane. The blue heron photo with his catch is awesome!

    1. Thanks. There may be other things on the blog you like. Maybe my flower photos? Those are pretty good if I do say so myself! LOL. As I recall I mentioned the Trip Wizard in my report on Social Knowledge.

      1. That’s right. I need to read that article. I’ll check out the flowers too. I love flowers; my mother loved flowers. Great blog. You may have inspired me to get started in my own again. 😊

          1. It’s very interesting. I’ve enjoyed reading so far. Your pictures are absolutely beautiful.

          2. Thank you so much for the recommendation of Hiawatha Trail, Russ. We went today and loved it. Epic bike ride, absolutely beautiful and not too busy. So glad you reminded me to check it out before we left the campground. Really enjoyed it.
